Ability: Niki's other personality, Jessica, shows the ability of Super Strength. Recently, it was hinted that Niki also has access to this super strength. This has been confirmed that she also shares the power. Niki is now suffering from the "heroe's disease" and being held by the company under the disguise of curing her of Jessica. Niki has injected herself with an incurable strain of the shanta virus.

Biography:

Former casino employee who now supports herself and her son Micah by stripping in front of an internet webcam.

Niki has a Split Personality, Jessica, who believes she must protect Niki and Micah (When speaking about Micah she always refers to him as "our son"). When Jessica is in charge it is quite noticable that it is not Niki due to her different attitude both physically and verbally. Currently, Jessica is in control and pretendering that she is Niki. Jessica is starting to show that she is taking on some of Niki's personality as her own. (She is becoming more compassionate and less impulsive). Jessica has now allowed Niki to regain control of her life realizing that she is strong enough to protect herself again. (Though she still speaks with her through their various means) Niki is now on her own having left Micah off with relatives. Niki was killed in an explosion saving Monica Dawson.

What We Know

Episode 1x01 - "Genesis"

  • Niki is a web cam stripper, forced to do so to support herself and her son (coincidentally being watched over the web by Hiro's friend Ando while he pretends to work at his desk).
  • Niki has a son, Micah, who quite gifted at working with technological things.
  • Niki took a $30,000 from a loan shark to make a $25,000 donation to a private school so they would let her son Micah attend. She has failed to pay back anything and the loan sharks are after her.
  • Niki's financial problems (bouncing checks) are causing her son to be kicked out of the private school that he is in. And her easy going attitude quickly disappears when she threatens the principal physically to give her her money back.
  • Niki has a friend, Tina, whom helps by watching Micah when she has problems. She informs her of the loan she has taken out and Tina worries that she gone back to gambling (it's inferred that she had a gambling problem).
  • She has been feeling like "someone" is watching her and her reflection in mirrors seems strange (Sees double images of herself in it and it lags behind her physical self's actions at times).
  • Niki is questioning her sanity because of the things she is seeing in the mirror and feelings of someone being there that isn't.
  • Niki comes home to a completely ransacked house and the loan shark's henchmen come to collect the money she owes. They hold her in her garage set up, demand back $50,000 and offer her a deal to strip for them in exchange for lowering her debt. After looking into the mirror, she is hit and passes out.
  • Niki wakes up to a phone call from Micah (wondering where she has been since its been some time) and finds the two men dead (one completely torn in half) and her garage covered in blood. She also noticed that her video camera had recorded the incident and takes it. She notices her reflection is covered in blood (she only has small stains on herself) and is physically telling her to be quiet.

Episode 1x02 - "Don't Look Back"

  • Niki wakes up to a phone call from Micah (wondering where she has been since its been some time) and finds the two men dead (one completely torn in half) and her garage covered in blood. She also noticed that her video camera had recorded the incident and takes it. She notices her reflection is covered in blood (she only has small stains on herself) and is physically telling her to be quiet. Panicked she runs out of the garage.
  • Niki calls Micah to inform him shes on her way, but then stops at a red light and tries to view the video. At the point where she looked into the mirro and is slapped the video goes to static, but sounds of the two thugs being torn apart can still be heard.
  • While still watching the video her phone rings and she is suddenly holding it instead of the video camera. She is cleaned up and dressed in completely different clothing and at an airport parking lot. Micah is on the phone wondering where she has been since its been 4 hours since she called from the red light.
  • Niki informs Tina that she woke up to find the dead men in her garage and that she believes she was the one who did it. She tells her that sometimes when she looks into the mirror shes not sure its her shes seeing in the reflection. She decides that she and Micah need to run and cover their tracks.
  • Niki brings Micah back to their house to get his things and she goes to the garage. She discovers that the garage has been completely cleaned and that a set of keys is waiting for her on a keyring that has her name engraved. When she looked into a well placed mirror her reflection points out the red convertable parked across the street.
  • Niki looks in the glove box and finds that the car is registered to her a few months prior. On the back side is a note telling her to follow the map in the trunk.
  • She finds a map in the trunk of the car along with the two dead bodies that were in her garage earlier. It appears that someone has done the clean up and preperation of hiding the bodies for her.
  • The map leads Niki out into the desert. While Micah is asleep in the back seat she gets out of the car and finds a conviently placed shovel stuck in the ground waiting for her. When she begins to dig, she finds that there is already a dead body buried at that spot.

Episode 1x03 - "One Giant Leap"

  • Niki digs while Micah is asleep in the back seat of her car. She finds that there is already a dead body buried at that spot and unearths a skull ring that holds significance to her. She opens the car’s trunk, revealing the two dead men in garbage bags.
  • Niki has spent the entire night burying the bodies. When she finally finishes she heads to the car just as Micah wakes up.
  • They go to DL's mother’s house, where Niki obviously knows she is not welcome. She is happy to see Micah, but not Niki. Niki shows her the ring, telling her how she dug it out of a grave, which was worn by D.L.’s crew. She believes it’s proof that D.L. is guilty of stealing $2 million from Linderman, and murdering his accomplices. Grandma believes D.L. has been framed, and that if he had that much money, he’d have left the country and taken Micah with him. Grandma wants Micah to stay with her. Niki won’t have it, and tells her, “Woman, you have no idea what I’m capable of.”
  • Niki and Micah are on their way home. Micah’s been quiet. He doesn’t understand why his mother believes his father is guilty, but he knows the police will never find him. His comments make Niki suspect that Micah knows where D.L. is. Before she can get the information out of him, they are pulled over by the police. The cop tells them that Mr. Linderman wants to see Niki. She tells him that she is with her son to attempt to get them to let them both go. Niki and Micah have no choice but to go with him.

Episode 1x04 - "Collision"

  • Niki and Micah are being led thru the casino by the cop sent by Lindermann to an office of one of his higher ups. She sends Micah out and informs Niki that Lindermann will forgive her debt for a favor. They wish for Niki to distract a politician in ways akin to what she does on her webcam.
  • Tina meets with Niki as she makes herself up for her meeting with the politician. She informs Tina that she's still seeing another her in the mirror. She also tells her shes blacking out and finding things different when she comes to again. She tells her she fears its her that tore the guy in half. And that shes having violent dreams (later on revealed they are Jessicas actions that she is herself expericiencing) of herself tearing people apart, but that "It's not me. It's someone else in me...with me." Tina attributes it all to her having seeing something so horrible that it traumatized her. Micah comes in and reminds her its game night and when she says she can't play Micah tells her that she's been different lately. He informs her that he knew all along what she did in the garage and that he feels that was safer then what shes about to do.
  • Niki purposely bumps into the politician she's supposed to set up which is none other than Nathan. She makes a cover story about being at a conference with the people she doesn't wish to associate with.
  • This leads them to Nathan's suite where they have an uncomfortable conversation about flying, spouses, and children. Niki informs Nathan her husband was a criminal who left her and that she has a son. She learns that Nathan also has sons. Nathan comments that parents have to be two different people and Niki responds that you have to be the person they see and the person you are. Nathan makes a move to kiss her and they do for a seccond until Niki realizies that she shouldn't be doing what she is. They leave cordially with Niki telling him that she had a great time with him.
  • Outside the elevator her reflection in the elevator doors splits to be two Nikis instead of one. Just then one of Lindermann's henchman pulls her into the elevator and starts choking her against the wall. He threatens to beat her up and then threatens to beat Micah up. At this point her other side, Jessica, takes control and this time we actually get to see it. She beats the crap out of the henchmen (with a huge smile), and warns him about threatening Micah ever again, "If you threaten our son again I will put my heel through your skull."
  • Jessica returns to Nathan and has her way with him. We see that she has the strange half helix symbol tattooed on her shoulder, whereas Niki herself does not. A camera in the fire alarm tapes their actions. In the morning, as they're both in bed sleeping, Claire's father shows up in the room and orders his own henchmen to "only take the one." Though we don't know which one that is.

Episode 1x05 - "Hiros"

  • Niki is woken up by Nathan’s assistant demanding to know where Nathan is. Niki doesn’t remember where she is or how she got there. The woman who ordered Niki to do what she was doing informs her that she did admirable work. Niki is convinced she had not gone through with the plan until Sakamoto shows her footage of herself (Jessica) with Nathan. Niki’s confused but since she is being allowed to leave she does.
  • Niki runs into Nathan and she accuses him of of having something to do with what happened to her. Niki tells him she doesnt remember anything that occured that night after turning him down. She tells him she was trying to be someone she wasnt and that, "She wants to be someone good, a good mother, not the person that I see in the mirror." As Nathan tries to reassure her, She tells him they had blackmailed her and that now they’re going to blackmail him with the tape they made of them. Niki apologizes for all thats happened even though she has no memory of it.
  • Niki arrives home and finds two strange men and a police officer in her living room. Micah and Tina are in the kitchen with more policemen. Tina informs her the cops showed up looking for D.L. because he was spotted in the area. When the cops ask about DL Micah interuppted and tells them his father’s innocent. Niki has Tina take him out of the room and wonders why the police havent gotten DL. Niki grows agitated and now beleives the stuff she is seeing is caused by him possibly. Someone is spotted about to enter the house so they all take cover. Ando is the one who walks in and waves at Niki.
  • Niki realzies that Ando is one of her customers from her website (which causes the cops to look oddly at her). Niki kindly explains to him that the person he sees on the internet is not really her. And informs the cops to let him go home.
  • Afterwards, Niki walks through the house and fails to notice DL's presence.

Episode 1x06 - "Better Halves"

  • Niki wakes up suddenly while sleeping with Micah in his room. She checks the house to see what she might have heard and also checks to make sure that cops are still watching. DL comes up behind Niki and tells her how beautiful she looks. When she tries to run DL grabs her. DL notices she’s not wearing her wedding anymore although he still wears his. Niki tells DL he better leave that his being there is a very bad idea. The cops arrive at the door to check in on Niki while DL goes off to look in on Micah. Niki assures them that everything is okay but the way she is speaking tips the cops off that something is wrong. Niki decides against giving away that DL is there and assures the cops its just been a long night.
  • Niki demands to know what really happened with DL and Lindermann and finds out that he had planned to rob Linderman for $2 million, enough money to solve D.L., Niki and Micah’s financial problems and get them out of Vegas. He changed his mind when he realized that would make Niki and Micah a target, as well. DL backed out and someone else took his place that then stole the money and killed his crew. He heard that someoen was laundering $2 million for someone currently in Las Vegas and pieced it together. Niki is taken back to find out a woman is involved.
  • Niki gathers up bedding for D.L. to set him up on the couch to sleep. She informs him that he has no idea whats been happening to her while he was gone. She tells him that she became another person after he left. DL forgives her for the internet stripping, stating it was what she had to do. Niki allows DL to stay the night if he agrees to leave in the morning. She goes back to her room and takes out her wedding ring. After a few moments she goes and tells DL to join her in bed.
  • Niki wakes up with DL in bed and they reminsece about how they met. He informs her that she must be tired since she didn't sleep the night before because she snuck out at some time (The same time a girl happened to show up to massacare the poker players at the club Hiro and Ando were at). Niki looks in the mirror and sees both herself and Jessica.Only she is sitting off to one side away from DL and Jessica is under the covers hands all over him cuddling.
  • Niki is worried that DL will leave and hurt Micah again. DL wants her to go meet with the money launderers so she can learn the truth about him. Niki sneaks DL in her car to the place and when they arrive Niki notices that even though a door was locked DL easily gets in. They discover the money launderers torn apart much like the people in Niki's garage. Niki can't look away from the corpses and DL has to drag her out.
  • Niki has a drink to calm down while informing DL that she has seen people torn up like that in her garage. She also lets him know how she borrowed from Lindermann and that when she didn't pay back they sent people after her. She explains how she was knocked out by them and woke up to their dead bodies and that she beleives she did it since she was the only one there. DL tries to tell her that she was played by the same woman (ironicly Jessica had done both things) who set him up. Niki wants them to go to the police but DL says that will not clear his name. Micah interupts at this point wanting Niki to find his back pack for him.
  • Niki goes to take the backpack to him but is distracted by her reflection. She suddenly is sitting on the couch without the backpack in different clothing. She goes to Micahs room to find out that according to him she just gave him the backpack he now possesses. Niki is creeped out tottally and tells Micah that she is not okay and needs to rest for a bit.
  • Niki goes to her room and lies against the window questioning what is happening to her, She beleives that she really is going crazy. She looks over and another her, Jessica, sitting beside her. Jessica informs her that she is as real as Niki is. And when Niki questions if it might be a tumor or hallucination, Jessica tells her that she's not a hallucination and that they are not crazy. Jessica informs her that she is (essentially Niki is) the one who framed DL, killed his crew, stole the money, killed the men in teh garage and the poker game. Jessica informs her they have been very busy. When Niki brings up that they were literally torn apart Jessica smiles and makes it clear that she enjoyed what she did. When Niki asks why she says she had to get rid of the witnesses and keep Niki and Micah safe, as she has always done. Jessica informs her that they have to get the money and run with Micah away from DL. Niki informs her that DL can take care of her. But is reminded by Jessica that DL will see Niki as crazy if told the truth and that he will just take Micah with him and possibly kill her. She tells Niki her choice is to let DL take Micah or do what Jessica says. Jessica agrees with her choice of getting the money. It is revealed that for this entire conversation physically its just been Niki in the room.
  • Niki finds the case of money and a gun that Jessica has hidden away. She is caught by DL who beleives she is the one who framed him. She attempts to explain it all saying that another person she can't control in her is causing everything. DL says hes goin to take Micah and the money and leave. Suddenly Jessica is in control and she hits DL with the case and it throws him across the room into an bureau shattering the bureau. Micah walks in and Jessica informs him that they are moving furniture to get him to leave. DL grabs Jessica and she throws him onto the bed breaking the bed. Her tattoo is shown and just then Micah walks in and distracts Jessica. This is distraction enough for DL to shove his hand through Jessicas chest to choke her. As she passes out he leaves with Micah. It is not known if its Niki or Jessica that is passed out on the floor.

Graphic Novel 6 - "Stolen Time"

  • It is found out that Jessica got herself accepted into DL's Gang 6 months earlier when DL disappeared and when Niki's blackouts and problems began. She uses her superstrength to steal the 2 million out of a safe and when the gang turns on her to kill her to keep the money she kills them. She attempts to get the money laundered by threatening to tear the guy doing it in half, explaning she means so litterally. She then takes the gangs bodies out into the desert in her red car that later she gives to Niki (Explains the date on the insurance card she leaves for Niki being six months earlier).

Episode 1x07 - "Nothing to Hide"

  • Niki comes to and looks around for Micah. She is having problems from DL shoving his hand thru her chest. Her doorbell rings, but she ignores it. She goes to the mirror to ask her reflection to help her.
  • Niki is crying at the mirror when Tina rushes in. She tells Tina that DL has taken Micah and that she has failed her son.
  • Niki talks with Tina about how six months before she had started having violent dreams (Jessica's actions). She tells Tina that at first she thought peopel were following her until she realized her reflection wasn't always her reflection. That at times it was another her named Jessica, who would come out when people tried to hurt her (Niki). Niki lets Tina know that when she sees Jessica in the mirror Jessica tells her that she wants out. Niki feels that a part of her wants to do it to get Micah back.
  • Niki calls Nathan for help. Saying she has no right to call, but that she needs someones help because her husband took her son. Nathan hangs up on her. Niki throws the phone at the mirror and Jessica takes over, tatoo clearly shown. Tina comes in when she hears the phone hit and Jessica attempts to get her to leave without letting on that she is not Niki. When it doesn't work and Tina says she can help. Jessica informs her that, "She (Niki) doesn't need your help any more. Understand?" This leads to Tina running out (Tina was only seen in flashback after this).
  • Jessica gets a call from Micah looking for his mother. She plays along that she is Niki when he asks if he's really talking to his mother. When Jessica asks where he is at Micah realizes its Jessica and demands she put Niki on the phone but Jessica informs him that she is not there right now and won't be back until Jessica is finished. Jessica gets Micah to tell her where they are at. After she is disconnected she loads the gun from the case and prepares to go find them.

Episode 1x08 - "Seven Minutes to Midnight"

  • Neither, Niki or Jessica Sanders was in this episode.

Episode 1x09 - "Homecoming"

  • Jessica practices target shooting with a sniper shot gun rifle. She informs the guy selling her the gun that she is going after the man that took her son. After paying the man $2,000 for the gun she turns around and taunts Niki in the mirror that shes going hunting.
  • Jessica takes aim from across the street and shoots DL in the shoulder while Micah is in the car watching.

Episode 1x10 - "Six Months Ago"

  • Niki starts off at an meeting for recovering alcoholics where she is celebrating one year sober. Tina is there to support her. She rattles off how her life is that her sons flunking school because hes too smart, that she reeks of ciggeratte smoke, that the house is in disrepair, and that her husband can't get a job because he's an excon. She comments that its too much for one person to handle. At this moment, she sees a man in the audience she recognizes, her father, Hal. She questions his reason for showing up and states he was the one who just disappeared. Hal states that he was an awful person to her and her family and he wants to make up for it, but Niki doesn't remember him as such she just remembers him as not being around. Hal is taken back that Niki doesn't remember. He wishes to get to know Niki, DL and Micah, but Niki says shes not ready to get to know him.
  • Niki is visiting her sister Jessica's gravesite along with some liquor (which she hasn't drunk yet). The gravestone reads that her sister was born in 1976 and died in 1987. DL walks up and asks her if shes having a drink with her sister and Niki informs him that it used to be she coudln't go an hour without missing her sister and that they have to remember her. She tells him that Hal's back and wants to meet them all. She wants to meet him because maybe he can help them financially, so DL comes up with the idea that they can meet and have dinner in Jessica's memory.
  • Niki, DL, and Micah meet with Hal in thier home where Hal is giving Micah a laptop. Niki brings up the issues they are having and Hal offers to financially help them. Hal once again says he is surprised to be let thruogh the door after all the things he has done and Niki is once again confused saying that he never did anything. Hal leaves to see what Micah is doing and snaps at him because he is taking the laptop apart. Niki and DL rush in and make sure Micah is ok. Niki asks why Hal bothered even coming if he thinks he has no business there and Hal gives her a blank check telling her to use it to make her life easier. Niki questions what he did that was so bad that she can't have her father back and Hal realizes that Niki truly does not remember. A quick look in the mirror and Jessica takes charge.
  • Jessica knocks and enters the hotel room Hal is staying at, unbeknownst to Hal who believes its Niki. Jessica lets Hal know that she remembers and slams him against the bureau. Hal crys out for Nicole to stop and Jessica informs him that its not Niki in front of him but his daughter Jessica. She reminds him that she is the daughter he threw beer bottles at, choked, and killed. She reminds him that he swore what he did to her was an accident and that they left Niki to be his punching bag. He tells her that he came to apologize to Niki, but Jessica tells him its her he has to apologize too. That she made sure Niki didn't know anything he did, that she had to be there to protect Niki, that she would be the one to remember the alcohol on his breath and be the one to take all the beatings he gave to Niki. Hal tells her shes not Jessica and Jessica tells him he has no idea who she is. He tells her that Nicole needs help, and Jessica tells him, "You're right she does. I thought she had learnt to protect herself." She stuffs the blank check into his mouth as he lays on the bed bleeding and tells him to get out of their life and never come back.
  • Back in the present, Jessica takes aim from across the street and shoots DL in the shoulder while Micah is in the car watching.

Episode 1x11 - "Fallout"

  • Jessica takes aim from across the street and shoots DL in the shoulder while Micah is in the car watching. Her second shot hits the car above DL's head. Her third shot would have killed DL but he phased the bullet thru his head and it takes out the cars tire. She drops the rifle, grabs her handgun, and crosses the street oblivious to the cars streaming by her. When she gets to the car she sees no one in it, but Niki's reflection in the window. She questions Niki about what shes looking at and then slams the car door so hard the window shatters.
  • Jessica follows Micah and DL through the forest. She comes across DL's jacket and suddenlt Niki is in control again. She wonders if Jessica or her might have killed DL. She trips and falls into a puddle and sees Jessica standing over her with her arms crossed telling her to get up. Jessica tells Niki she did what she had to to get Micah back. Niki yells at her that if she missed she could have hit Micah and Jessica tells her quite confidently that she never misses and was doing what she had to get Micah back. Jessica sees DL as being dangerous and that this could lead to Micah being hurt. Niki tells Jessica that shes out of control to which Jessica laughes asking what Niki even knows about control. Niki says she can control Jessica because Jessica is a part of her and that Jessica must do what she says. Jessica informs her that it doesnt work that way any more and that she has to do this because Niki is not strong enough. Micah calls out to Niki and both of them react, but it is Jessica that wins control and runs after him (with gun at the ready).
  • Jessica finds Micah at the cabin and she runs with Micah to the door. DL is waiting with a shovel and slams it into Jessica. Her reaction is to back hand him quite a far distance away. When Micah sees he jumps onto Jessica and she screams shes doing it for his own good and shrugs him off accidentaly sending him flying into a pile of rocks. Her shock at this allows Niki to take over. She goes to comfort Micah but DL tells her to get away. Micah realizes that it really is his mom and hugs her. She apologizes to both him and DL. They then all hug.
  • Niki is helping DL and Micah back to the car. DL is telling her that they can get her help to get Jessica in control. Niki is afraid that Jessica is stronger, based especially on her super strength. She asks DL how he can explain how strong she is and he says he can't. DL is having a problem understanding that Jessica is not Niki. Niki realzies that she can't be trusted that Jessica could come back to hurt them all. When Micah trips and DL is distracted Niki runs off leaving the case to a cop across the street. She tells the cop to arrest her for murder.
  • In the future Niki/Jessica (unclear which) is shown attempting to escape the blast in New York with Micah and DL.

Episode 1x12 - "Godsend"

  • Niki has been in solitary for about 2 weeks.
  • Niki is in a solitary jail cell when a bunch of guards come in. One sports a broken nose. They are asking her if she's got her mind right and it appears she was the one who attacked the hurt guard. The guards are afraid of her and back off any time she moves. The four guards cuff her and escort her out of the cell.
  • Niki is in a meeting with her lawyer who is telling her her outbursts are not helping. Niki just wishes to do her time in peace and the lawyer informs her the DA is looking for the death penalty. Niki is confused by this. The lawyer says shes not cooperating at all and that maybe if she told them where the money was things would go better. She denies knowledge of the money and Jessica decides its time to chime in by telling her and the lawyer that they know just where the money is. Jessica tells Niki that shes right and should tell them and Niki yells at her to stop and tells the lawyer to. "not pay any attention to her." They lawyer is confused seeing one person having a conversation as two people and asks her who he is to ignore. At this point Jessica decides to assert control and ask who shes going to have to have sex with to get out of jail. Niki yells at her again to stop and starts to realize how bad its looking to the lawyer. When the lawyer asks whats up though its Jessica that responds by calling him a dipshit. The lawyer demands to know if she is going psych on him and Jessica confirms if its what it takes then they are. He informs them that multiple personality disorder is a hard sell, but Jessica flat out tells her she doesn't want his opinion and that he needs to get them a shrink. Niki takes over and pleads with the lawyer that she is not crazy and not to listen to Jessica. The lawyer high tails it out of their as fast as possible. Niki realzies that Jessica's intentions to save her has once again landed her in more trouble.
  • Niki is speakign with DL via a phone in the visitors center of the jail. Shes letting DL know that they are getting her evaluated by a shrink because Jessica is there and has already beat up a guard and attempted to escape. DL thinks this is good that the shrink might be able to help her control Jessica. Niki confronts DL that Jessica is real that this isn't all something in her head and he tells her he should never have allowed her to lock herself up (though he really had no choice in the matter). Niki tells DL that even though he wishes he kept the money to help her that if he had done so it would never be over. The phone is turned over to Micah and she tells him that she wished she could come home but she can't and that DL will take care of him. They both start crying and Niki turns to beg to hug Micah. DL realizes that he has to calm her down as Niki spirals down begging that Micah needs her and that she has to go hug him. Niki advances on the guard and he goes to hit her with his billy club she grabs it and breaks it in half herself. The shock of being able to do so allows the guards to subdue her and while DL and Micah watch she is violently recuffed.
  • Niki is straitjacketed in a padded cell being sedated by one of the doctors there. She is left alone and begs for God to help her. Jessica responds to her, "Who needs God when you've got me" as lights out is called.

Episode 1x13 - "The Fix"

  • Niki is straitjacketed in a padded cell being sedated by one of the doctors there. She is left alone as the sedation takes affect and she passes out.
  • Niki wakes up in her cell to find the straijacket off and a shrink waiting for her. She demands to know why the straitjacket was removed and tells the shrink to leave that shes not safe. She says that the straitjacket means nothing that its the drugs that keep Jessica weak and that they have to give her more drugs. When the shrink brings up Jessicas name and everything thats happened Niki ignores her and demands another shot. The shrink says Niki has classical multiple personality disorder and Niki tells her that shes wasting her time and just to leave. The shrink says she can make something of her life there and that if she wants help she can help her. Niki's response is to tell her that what she is can't be fixed and that she wants her to give her another shot and leave. The shrink walks out with the straitjacket and no more drugs are given to Niki.
  • Niki is once again sleeping in her cell when DL phases in. He takes one look at her and demands to know they have done to her. She's worried they'll catch him and then asks him to come nearer because his shirt smells like home. When DL hestitates when she asks how Micah is she gets worried. DL tells him Micahs fine but that its too much for him to handle (ironic saying this to a woman who's gotten herself commited to deal with things). Niki tells him she's accepted that she might be in the padded cell for a long time, maybe her whole life. She gets agitated that shes counting on DL to take care of Micah and DL tells her they need her. She ends up being the one to console him saying that he needs to be there for Micah to take care of him that he needs boundaries and a strong hand. Then she tells him to leave and looks off after him.
  • Niki has decided to meet with the shrink and is cuffed to the table and floor. She says she needs to get out for her son. The shrink says theres no garantees that if she wishes to get rid of Jessica the shrink herself has to speak to her. Niki gets agititated and asks for another way. When the shrink insists Niki screams no at her and says she can't speak to Jessica. The shrink says then it will be a long time until she sees her son agian and starts to leave.Niki calls her back as she is about to walk out the door.

Episode 1x14 - "Distractions"

  • Niki is meeting with the shrink cuffed to the table who is using a mirrored metronome to focus her so they can talk. When told to relax Niki tells her that she can't relax because the shrink is trying to call forth Jessica. Niki once again warns the shrink that jessica is dangerous and could hurt her. The shrink has Niki prove that the cuffs are strong, and confirms that they could keep someone extremely strong in the chair and that she has a taser in case anything goes wrong. Niki questions why she wants to speak to Jessica if the goal is to get rid of her and the shrink informs her the goal is the integrate them not get rid of Jessica completely, so they are not to aspects at war. Niki decides to go ahead with it and starts to speak about the parts of her past she remembers. She speaks of a piano being in the house and that Jessica played the piano beautifully. Niki says she would find the sheet music and use it with her crayons as connect the dots. She reminscenes while a tear goes down her cheek that Jessica said she could turn Mozart into a monkey. At that second Jessica takes over while Niki was crying and in a deadpan voice says, "I sure did." She tells the shrink that she should have listened to Niki, the little mouse. Then rips the cuffs off the table and smiling at the shrink grabs the taser just as the shrink goes to reach for it.
  • Niki comes to in the meeting room uncuffed and lying on the floor as the guards rush in to find the shrink unconcious and tasered quite a few times with a broken hand and broken taser lying next to her. Her cell phone is also lying near by having been used by Jessica (confirmed later). Niki sees her body and freaks out screaming that they have to take her back to her cell and that she warned the shrink what would happen. They recuff her and the guard with the broken nose knocks her out with the billy club.
  • Niki is in her cell attempting to calm down from all thats happened when in comes the guard with a broken nose who throws her belongings at her and tells her shes going home. She tells them its not possible that she killed quite a few people. In walks Malsky, one of Lindermann's men, and tells her that the DA has thrown out her case that some guy on death row has been blamed for her actions. They even had fake DNA evidence to back up all their evidence. Niki says she has to be in the cell that she needs help and Malsky tells her she has to get dressed taht she's goin home to her family. Niki is very disturbed by this.
  • Either Jessica or Niki is at the mirror when Micah knocks on the door asking to play games she says sure. As she turns around its shown that it is in fact Jessica, tattoo is quite visible, and Niki is banging from inside the mirror screaming No. Jessica smiles and taunts her by saying that Niki shouldn't be so mad she had wanted to be locked up. Jessica finishes putting on a sweater to hide her tattoo and walks out to join the family. Niki is frustrated and bangs on the mirror from the inside again, realizing Jessicas in control now.

Episode 1x15 - "Run"

  • Jessica is having a conversation with Niki while applying makeup to cover her tattoo. Niki tells her DL won't be fooled but Jessica is sure that he is. Niki is very bothered by Jessica taking over her life. Micah says that they should talk about their powers more and Jessica kisses him and sends him off to school. Niki's reflection in the TV is extremely upset. Jessica gets a package and it contains plane tickets in Niki's name and a picture of the person she's supposed to kill, Malsky. She talks to one of Lindermann's men on the phone and commments that playing house is making her cranky. She loads her gun in preperation.
  • Jessica has taken up location out of the place that Malsky and Matt are meant to be at and is sitting there waiting dressed entirely in black with black sunglasses (very inconspicuous). Jessica patiently waits in the elevator and plans to kill Matt and Malsky. When she exits though they are already off and running. Jessica appears to be one who enjoys the hunt and happily goes after them, saying it should be fun.
  • Jessica is running down a hallway past some mirrors when Niki yells out that she can't do it and has to stop. Jessica tells her not to worry that she doesn't play to be in charge for ever that she has to lay low. When Jessica looks for Niki again in the mirror she is surprised to see her a few flights above instead. Niki reminds her that chasing two men with a gun in broad daylight is not really laying low and that she is ruining her (Niki's) life and that of her son. Jessica doesn't agree that she has to do this to protect them. Niki realzies it was Jessica who made the deal to get her out of jail.
  • Jessica comes out of no where and starts shooting at Malsky and Matt. She follows them through the building. And when she reaches the staircase Matt puts a gun to her head demanding she drop hers. She happily does so and smiles as he cuffs her to the railing. She is intrigued to hear that Matt was able to hear Niki as well as her. She uses his beleif that there is another person there as well to get him to leave her and go to save Malsky.
  • Jessica surprises Matt from behind and throws him out a window (breaking the cuffs was definitely a little treat for her). She then kills Malsky by ripping him in half and turning him end over end.
  • Jessica talks on Niki's cell with the person giving her commands on who to take out. She questions Micah if she got a package and he confirms it. Her next hit is Nathan Petrilli and she says she remembers him and to consider her job done.

Episode 1x18 - "Like Any Parasite"

  • Jessica and Micah are playing Heavenly Sword for the ps3. Jessica is quite enjoying herself killing enemies it it while Micah watches. Jessica tells him she got great at it because when he was in school its how she kept herself occupied. Jessica attempts to talk Micah out of going to school and he says he has to go anyway. When he leaves Jessica looks at Niki in the mirror and tells her that she plays a better Niki then Niki. Niki looks off hearing something in the hall and in comes DL quite angry at Niki. It seems he found a picture of Nathan on his pillow that Niki put there without Jessica's knowledge. Jessica is acting all innocent in a very non-Niki way. She denies putting the photo there (which is true since Jessica didnt do it Niki did). Jessica talks her way out of it saying shes working now for lindermann and that she won't do anything she doesn't want to. She kisses him in a very non-Niki way and he walks out. As he walks out its clear he knows its not Niki he just spoke with. Jessica goes to confront Niki about leaving it and Niki taunts her silently and confidently from the mirror. Jessica tells her it was cute and gets her gun ready for her mission to kill Nathan.
  • Jessica shows up to kill the two men spying on Lindermann through Nathan. She tells them taht Lindermann sends a message to not run surveilance on someone in their own hotel. She orders them to kick over their guns and go down on the floor and comments how nice it is to work with proffessionals. She then shoots them both.
  • Niki waits for Nathan in his hotel room. She has taken control again and tells him that he cant wear the wire that it will get him killed. She during all this time has Jessica's gun pointed at him. She tells Nathan she doesn't know how much time they have before Jessica comes back. Nathan slams her onto the bed and she tells him that Lindermann's men are dead. He asks her if she came to kill him or warn him and she tells him he has to just trust her.
  • Niki is telling Nathan about how Lindermann hired Jessica to take him out. She says shes stopping Jessica and keeping her safe because she owes Jessica. She tells Nathan to run and brings up the fact he has little children to protect. She says theres no other option and Nathan decides to kill Lindermann. Niki demands that Nathan knock her out to prove to Jessica its Niki who has control now. Nathan is wary to do it. Nathan once again asks who Jessica is and Nikipoints the gun at him again and tells him if he wants the gun he has to knock her out. Through all of it she doesn't let Nathan know that Jessica is another personality of hers. Nathan knocks her out.

Episode 1x19 - ".07%"

  • Only Jessica appears in this episode, not Niki, not even in a reflective surface.
  • Jessica informs DL that everyting she does is for Micah. That without her Niki would be in prision, Micah would have no mother, and he would be all alone. She reminds him that he had no complaints about her being there when he thought she was Niki. DL tells her he is done with things and that he doesn't know if its Niki or Jessica any more that he speaks to. (In the previously on heroes Niki/Jessica comments to him she doesn't either, but this was never aired). He threatens to take Micah away and Jessica tells him to go ahead and finish the sentence. He informs her once again that with her around Micah is not safe, plus the Lindermann issue. Jessica reminds him that she brought money and rent into the house and that no one wants to hire him because of his history. DL tells her that everywhere she goes people die and that shes become her old man. Jessica reacts to this with shock telling him not to dare say that. (Its clear that even someone thinking that is enough to floor her). DL says he will die before she ends up killing Micah with her actions. By this point Jessica is obviously stunned and close to crying. DL tells her she has a choice to get DL out of it or say goodbye to him that night.
  • Jessica ends up in Lindermann's gallery commenting that Lindermann doesn't see anyone. He calls her fearsome Jessica and Niki Sweet Niki. He comments that she has come a long way since Niki borrowed 30 grand and that the room she killed the poker players in needed a new paint job when she was done. Jessica tells him that the order of things is when he needs somehting he sends his boys, if its bigger he sends Williams, and that if its her it must be off the charts. Lindermann informs her that he wants Micah. Jessica tells him that Micah is not part of any of this and she doesnt want him involved. Lindermann says its pay back for saving her a long walk to the gas chamber and Jessica says she'll kill anyone he wants, but that Micah is off limits. Lindermann says its a courtesy that he made a request and Jessica tells him to send anyone he wants that he is "not touching my son" (interesting choice of pronounces since its clearly been written out that Jessica always says our for Micah). Lindermann says its time to get an insurance policy out on Ms. Sanders.
  • Jessica arrives home just after Candice has posed as Niki to pick up Micah early from school and get him to trust leaving with Lindermann. Candice comments on Jessica's car before leaving. (Jessica doesn't know Micah is gone, but looks like she knows something is up).

Graphic Novel 31 - "Walls, Pt. 1"

  • Niki/Jessica is in prison again a little over a year after the bomb went off. Niki/Jessica is being kept in a solitary room behind a thick unbreakable door (since her power is super strenght) Peter finds her cowered on the Floor by the bed and helps her out. Straight into a battle with the other side.

Episode 1x20 - "Five Years Gone"

  • Only Niki appears in this episode, not Jessica, not even in a reflective surface.(Niki really isnt screaming stable indiviual in this ep at all, she is a lot more harsher and in some ways more like Jessica).
  • Niki is a pole dancer/stripper in a bar in Las Vegas. She uses the name Jessica as her stage name and is the main act in the bar. She spots Hiro and tells him he has one song, 2 minutes, and $500 dollars to spend and then he must leave. They are looking for Peter and she tells him war is over and lost and that he is not interested. When Hiro brings up Sylars name Niki grabs him by the neck and tells him that she'll break his neck if he says the name again. She tells them where to find Bennet and obviously recognizes Ando.
  • Niki checks the earnings for the day at the bar while downing herself a drink. (In earlier eps it was shown that Niki used to be an alcoholic). Peter shows up in the chair next to her and she tells him that he can leave she can handle herself. She says Hiro is tryin to stop Sylar and they shoudln't worry that she has sent him off. They are watching a broadcast to remember the bomb going off since it is the 5 year anniversary. When Peter comments to her its a bad day for this all to happen she says it's just like any other day. Micah had died in the explosion. And she says that Peter needs to let go like she is. They kiss and Niki walks away the minute the explosion itself starts to be shown on the television.
  • Niki walks in on Peter, Hiro, and Ando speaking. She realzies that Peter plans to leave and fight. She takes this as Peter leaving her and her ending up alone. It appears they had a promise that they would never abandon each other.
  • Peter calls her on the fact that she pretends that she is Jessica. That she pretends nothiing bothers her and that nothing affects her. Niki tells him she is that now. Peter reminds her that Jessica is gone that in the mirror the reflection is just herself. That DL and Micah are gone as well. That she has to accept the losses. Niki tells him Jessica was right look out only for yourself and dont get attached. Niki starts screaming and punching him. Peter tells her he is the one who was the bomb and that he killed Micah. Niki refuses to beleive it and screams at him. Niki starts crying realizing he is telling the truth. She tells him if he leaves he can't come back and he still leaves.
  • Niki watches the broadcast of the memorial on tv and gets so angry at it that she throws the glass of what she is drinking (I'm guessing its something alcoholic) at the tv shattering it.

Episode 1x21 - "The Hard Part"

  • Jessica is at the mirror speaking to Niki when DL walks in quite angry at Jessica. Saying that Linderman picked up Micah from school. Jessica tells him that Lindermann said he needed Micah for a project. As DL screams at her that he's 10 years old she tells him she flat out told Lindermann no. Jessica tells her its all Lindermann's fault. But DL screams at her that the whole thing is her fault that Micah was HER responsibility. He then leaves saying hes going to get Micah himself leaving Jessica noticably upset. From the mirror Niki tells Jessica that she can't let DL go that she is the one who can save Micah and not Niki herself. Both Niki and Jessica are upset by this point. Niki pleads with her to go and Jessica doesn't waste time in calling after DL to wait for her.
  • DL phases Jessica thru the wall into Lindermann's Gallery. Jessica informs him that if he does it again she'll kill him and he tells her shes lucky he didn't trap her in the wall after all shes done. Jessica explains what the room is to DL and they come across a photo of Micah in a burning building which stuns both of them. Jessica guesses correctly that the picture is from New York. She then finds a wall full of photos of herself, Niki, and their family. On it are DL's 4th grade report card, Niki's immunization records, picture of Jessica and Niki together as kids, picture of DL as a kid, Micah, the family together. Also there is pic of DL's criminal report, Issac's paintings of Niki and Jessica, Niki's psych ward papers. Jessica comments that their entire life has been documented by him. It creeps Jessica out to find this all. DL says that maybe its because no one else can do what they do. DL says it seems none of their life was real that the entire thing was Lindermann's science experiment with them as the subjects.
  • DL and Jessica look over file folders about their lives. DL says with all the info he has kept up that Lindermann must know about Micah. Jessica agrees that finding Lindermann means finding Micah. And this time DL has no problem working with her as he tells her they should get out of there.

Graphic Novel 31 - "Walls, Pt. 2"

  • Niki/Jessica speaks of her life. That she had lived many lives. The life of an abused daughter, an alcoholic, a stripper, an unwilling murderer, a mother, a wife, a survivor, and a mourner. She states that in the jail she really didn't have to fight for her life but that she does now. And that pole dancing was one thing that ended up able to save her. She ends by stating she has no family any more.

Episode 1x22 - "Landslide"

  • Jessica and DL are watching on the streets when Jessica points out that Nathan Petrelli is the one going into the cab. Jessica tells him they know Micah is in town with Lindermann and that Nathan can track them down. DL comments on the fact that no one will see them coming.
  • Jessica and DL phase into Nathan's office. Nathan says he figured she'd be dead after tipping her off about lindermann. Jessica informs him that Niki actually thought he would kill lindermann and that lindermann musta offered him something good. DL jumps in to say their son was taken by lindermann and Jessica confirms it had to do with him and the election. Nathan doesn't wish to beleive without evidence and Jessica tells him to cut the crap. She tells him they both hate lindermann as much as he does and that he has to just let them do the job. DL says its not worth whatever hes getting to stop them. And that he will destroy all he cares about if not stopped. The TV informs them that Nathan has won the election and he says he'll tell them where lindermann is as long as lindermann never knows he said so his family is safe. DL makes it clear that lindermann will pay in full for what he did.
  • Jessica is asking DL why they are doing what they are. That Lindermann could be anywhere. Matt has recnized jessica as the assassin lindermann sent after malsky. When they phase thru the turn styles HRG runs up to them speaking to them by name and saying that they have similar goals. Jessica recognizes matt and asks him, "Didn't I throw you out a window?" This gets odd looks all around.
  • HRG, Matt, Jessica, and DL are enjoyng a VERY uncomfortable elevator ride. When Matt and HRG end up at their stop HRG tells them where Lindermann is. Matt wishes Jessica good luck finding Micah. And whatever inner dilagious she has in her head in response leads him to say, "Right..Nice to see you too."
  • Jessica and DL phase into Lindermann's office. Lindermann looks completely shocked to see Jessica there. She asks wehre micah is then throws him across the room. DL backs her up and Lindermann's comment is that they have micah only because of him. That he crafted their lives and dl takes this as him believing he can now ruin their lives. The concept of him doing this because he is rich is brought up and Lindermann does not deny thats part of it. DL says his destiny is to give back micah. Jessica goes to leave and get Micah. But lindermann stops and says that he'll never see micah again because jessica will kill him first. He gives Jessica a bag of money and tells her she can have all the money she wishes if kills DL. Jessica is intringed and lindermann explains that its easy since all the men in her life have used her and hurt her all she wants is security and money buys that. Lindermann offers her 20 million dollars saying money is all she cares about. DL speaks up that Jessica does care for micah and this snaps jessica out of it a bit. DL continues to tell her that she came to save micah and that she must think of that. Jessica admits to DL that she wants the money and would kill him for it. But that Niki wouldn't do so. Jessica then reliquishes full control to Niki again.
  • Niki runs to hug DL. Lindermann comments that she really doesn't love DL. And Jessica responds all her actions were for Niki, Micah. and DL. Lindermann's response is to pull a gun and go to shoot Niki/Jessica. DL leaps in front and is shot in the chest rather point blank. Jessica herself is shocked and Lindermann tells her she should have taken the money. DL phases his hand thru lindermanns skull and destroys his brain. Niki reaasserts control and begs DL not to die. DL says their lives were real and Jessica wasn't the strong one she was. Niki and crying and begging DL to answer her. Niki sits with DL in her arms her hand over where he was shot and is bleeding from while rubbing him to try to comfort him and herself.

Episode 1x23 - "How to Stop an Exploding Man"

  • Niki runs to hug DL. Lindermann comments that she really doesn't love DL. And Jessica responds all her actions where for Niki. Micah, and DL. Lindermann's response is to pull a gun and go to shoot Niki/Jessica. DL leaps in front and is shot in the chest rather point blank. Jessica herself is shocked and Lindermann tells her she should have taken the money. DL phases his hand thru lindermanns skull and destroys his brain. Niki reaasserts control and tells DL he shouldn't have taken the bullet that he should have allowed it to phase through him. DL tells Niki to leave and forget about him to save Micah. Niki reminds him taht he can save them and phase them out of the room. As the guards burst in they phase through.
  • Niki helps DL rest against a wall on the floor Micah is on. He tells her to leave and she tells him he'll die if she does. DL tells her she has to find Micah alone that shes strong enough on her own to do it. She kisses him and leaves promising to come back for him and telling him not to move.
  • Niki tries the doors on the 42nd floor calling out for Micah. She finds an open one and looks in to find who she thinks is Jessica (its actually Candice). She tells her she can't be there and Fake Jessica taunts her showing her Micah dead. Fake Jessica tells Niki its all her fault that Micah and DL died because she was too weak. As Niki begs Micah to wake up, Fake Jessica tells her the wrong sister died that it should have been Niki. Niki is crying over her son's body while Fake Jessica tells her she is nothing that it was her they needed. She then kicks Niki in the face and walks away laughing.
  • Fake Jessica continues beating up Niki. She slams Niki into a mirror and shatters it all over the floor with Niki landing among it. She tells Niki that she has to face it she is the only reason Niki is alive. From the mirror Niki sees Jessica telling her that the person she is fighting is not her. Jessica tells her she has to stop her and find Micah. Niki is confused and Jessica repeats herself. Niki tells Jessica she is not strong enough and Fake Jessica asks her who the hell she is talking to. Niki punches her and she sails across the room knocked out. She transforms back into Candice and the fake Micah disappears. Niki hears Micah calling for her and she runs to the door he is locked behind and simple pulls it open as if it was nothing. Micah asks her if its really his mom and she confirms it is. They hug and Niki smiles at the mirror behind them.
  • Niki and DL rush in to find DL practically unconcious with Mohinder and Molly. Mohinder tells them they have to get out the guards are coming and Niki runs to the door and pulls the handle straight off so they have no way of opening it from their side. Niki picks up DL and helps him walk to the elevator that Micah has forced into working. They head off just as the guards arrive.
  • Niki, DL, Micah, Molly and Mohinder run out of the building to find Matt Parkman shot, and HRG against a wall almost unconcious. They see Sylar and Peter facing off. Sylar causes a parking meter to fly into his waiting hand. Niki runs off to join the fight and grabs it as he is about to hit Peter with it again. She then whacks Sylar with it actually knocking him to the ground and partly out of it. Peter tells her to return to her family (he has gained her power) and she throws the parking meter aside as if it is nothing but a twig and rejoins her family.
  • Niki, DL, Micah, and Molly together watch as Peter starts to go nova. Nathan arrives and then flys off with an about to explode Peter. As the sky shows the Nova of Peter's explosion Niki asks what has happened to them, but there is no answer.

Graphic Novel 34 - "The Death of Hana Gitelman, Part 2"

  • Micah questions Niki on if DL will be ok. Niki's inner dialogue echoes micah's spoken thoughts on if DL will be okay or not.

  • Niki and Micah are in a graveyard where DL is now dead and buried. Niki is informing Micah that its time to leave LA and that he has to say goodbye to his father. They are leaving LA so Micah can start a new normal life.
  • Niki and Micah pull up to a house in New Orleans where Nana lives. Niki makes Micah promise to not use his powers so he can stay safe. Its obvious shes leaving him there to do something. Micah comments taht they dont even know these people. And Niki says she has no choice that she must go away for a while, but she'll return. Micah comments she always says that when shes going to do something bad.
  • Niki is speaking to Bob on her cell phone in his office about needing a cure. (Heroe's disease) He states that he'll need something from her in return.

Episode 2x4 - "The Kindness of Strangers"

Episode 2x5 - "Fight or Flight"

  • Jessica has escaped from the room Niki was being held in. She appears to be drugged much like Niki is later. She slams Mohinder against a wall when he gets in her way (As if she doesn't recognize him). And then grabs Bob lifting him at least a foot off the floor and just holding him there, unsure what to do next. Mohinder then tasers her and she loses consciousness.
  • Niki regains consciousness restrained to a hospital bed, obviously used to being that way, as Bob checks her eyes. (Irony being we learnt in season 1 restraints do not stop Jessica, but drugs keep her weak) Niki is obviously drugged up as well. She apologizes for what Jessica has done and thanks them for pretty much tasering her and stopping Jessica from getting them out. Bob tells her that they'll get her better and cure her Multiple Personality Disorder. He leaves and Mohinder goes to untie Niki and she freaks out demanding that she can't leave. He tells her shes a prisoner and when she denies it vehemently he realizes that she's beyond the capibilities of being reasoned with. That she truly beleives they have to help her and she has to be there. Niki completely beleives she is sick and that only the company understands her and Jessica. And that she is completely brainwashed to believe only the company can help her.

Episode 2x6 - "The Line"

  • Jessica, masquerading as Niki, walks in on Mohinder at the company facility. She informs him that she is back to her old self thanks to the company and that she now works for them as Mohinder's partner. She says she is doing it because she owes them. And that Bob has her doing this to make sure their are no other misunderstandings. Mohinder looks like he realizes hes not speaking to Niki herself.
