Blogs are supposed to be where people tell the truth about themselves, without caring what people think... but I bet most of us just put what we want people to see. So, in the interest of being different, here goes with some real truth... my big secret admission is....... I'm super excited that I now have over 1000 friends!

I know I'm not supposed to care about that sort of thing, but sometimes I can't help it. Anyway, thanks to all my friends out there, especially those of you who post comments and messages, I do try to read them all. In quick summary: Claire is a friend, and will always be just that. Yes the Dresden Dolls rock. Penny-Arcade is great. Odessa has its moments, I don't see too many film crews here though, I think they probably do that stuff in or near Los Angeles. And why would Claire's dad have the tape? That's just strange, plus he would like totally ground her forever or something... I'm sure it'll turn up.

Thanks for being great friends, be sure and think about me Monday night. Oh, which reminds me, Claire asked me to meet up with her... must remember to do that (don't forget!).

Guess where I am? I'm inside a Limo for the first time in my life! It's really nice. There is a mini bar inside and TV. No video games though. I miss my PS2...

I finally met someone who has special powers just like me. I knew there were other heroes out there! Well, I did actually meet Mr. Isaku, but he was dead and his brain was cut open so doesn't really count. His name is Nathan Petrelli. He is Clark Kent without the glasses. Instead of a cape, he wears pajamas when he flies. Very cool.

He was very nice and is giving me a ride right now back to Las Vegas. ルーラ！

It's wonderful to know there are others out there. He seems to have a different mission though. He said he wants to win an election I think. Hmm. I told him that he would win his election by a mudslide in the future. I hope telling him that doesn't affect the future.

He said he wouldn't join my party to stop the explosion, but he said maybe later. It would be great to have him in our party. He's going to Vegas and he likes to fly so he's our Setzer Gabbiani. Slot attack! (^o^) The limo isn't an airship though. Ah! It's our chocobo. A very high tech chocobo.

I can see Las Vegas again. \(^o^)/ But looks like I'm still a party of one, searching for my Lucca and Marle. Ando-kun deserted my party (T.T) Ando-kun told me that he was miserable with me and left alone. I hope he'll be ok. At least he can speak English and he'll have fun with the internet stripper.

Well, gotta get back to my mission to save the world. I know there are others like me out there. If you hear anyone with similar powers, please let me know.

Saw Claire briefly at school, we fought which is understandable, she's been through a lot. I heard Brody's car got smashed up, hit a wall, that's about all I know since I'm not exactly on the school's social must-call list. I feel bad for saying what I did about his car, I hope he's okay. I also have a sneaking suspicion that Claire might be involved in the crash. I hope she's okay too, but something tells me she'll be just fine.

Though physically fine is a lot different than emotionally fine. Claire's been through, and is still going through a lot. A lot more than your average teenager that's for sure. She's a good friend, and for all the people saying we should "be together" and that I can still get her, I apreciate the sentimenet, but honestly Claire is a good friend and that's it.

I'm listening to this awesome song called "I don't like Mondays" by Tori Amos. It's actually a cover of a Boomtown Rats song from a while ago. I like that version better, but can't find it right now. First I lose Claire's tape, now this... I think there must be some kind of black-hole-object-sucking vortex forming in my room. Anyone else have that problem or is it just me?

Let?s start with something that I touched on last week: the whole ?seeing or being from the future & leaving cryptic messages? routine. I realize that the drama & tension have to be ratcheted up every now & then, but once, just once, I?d like to see someone come from the future (I?m looking at you, FN Hiro) & actually tell someone something of worth. ?Save the Cheerleader, save the world?? What kind of crap is that? What cheerleader? Where? How about a school, at least?

Another question brought up, related to the time displacement problem this show has, is just how long was Good/Evil Niki left sleeping in Nathan?s bed before his lackey came in & booted her out? Nathan was abducted, flew away to BFE for breakfast, came back to the hotel (I believe it's the same one, The Montecito from NBC?s ?Las Vegas? [as pointed out by the ever vigilant ETS] that Hiro & Ando were ejected from) & then ran into Good Niki. I guess this is feasible, if Good Niki chose to hang around the hotel for a few hours after she got up. Maybe she was looking around for Nathan. Maybe the hotel had a great all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet & she was trying to get her $8.95 worth (she is eating for two, in a manner of speaking). Who knows?

Another theory that?s been brought to the table, & this goes back to CD getting around the country really quick, is that he?s not one person, but more like an Agent Smith from The Matrix, only without the mad kung-fu skilz. I know that Texas, Nevada & California aren?t all that far apart, but the guy?s really rackin? up the frequent flyer miles with all the traveling he does. And if he?s gone so much, how would he be able to keep an eye on Claire? That could be remedied if he?s a clone.

It wouldn?t explain, though, how MM is always with him. Unless Miguelito?s theory that CD?s power is the ability to shrink MM & carry him in his pocket is correct.

... Ali Larter ? a hot blonde named Niki Sanders whose superpower is? (wait for it)? muliple personality disorder.

Which only makes me immediately think of all the people living in the heart of tinsel town who have not-so-amazing superpowers of their own.

Let me first come clean: Heroes? Niki Sanders is a sweet mother trying to make ends meet by selling her image over the internet that men pay to see. When she blacks out or when tough times come her way, the ?other? Niki Sanders takes over, doing the dirty work (like killing people, sleeping with people and generally doing other awful things to people) that the more chaste Niki Sanders would never do. Alas, her multiple personality takes over.

This, my friends, is no superpower.

In fact, in Los Angeles ? that?s more like a common everyday occurence. And if Heroes is positing that someone with multiple personality disorder is a superhero, then Los Angeles has millions of ?em

It?s unofficial but it seems NBC?s Heroes is about to become a phenomenon. I have to admit, as a comic book/superhero fan since childhood, the show is quite addictive. The characters and cast are likable and the storylines are the most seductive and mysterious since LOST. Every episode seems to play like a movie on its own. It does take some elements from LOST where all the characters have a story that entwines with the story of another character or sometimes they just pass by each other in a scene unknowingly. Their destinies is what will eventually bring them together probably in a plot to save New York from a nuclear explosion. Also, you also have the character of Hiro who speaks only in Japanese like Jin in LOST who speaks only in Korean.

This fall season, NBC premiered a new science-fiction show called "Heroes," about, you guessed it, superheros. They eventually have to team up and fight fate to save the city of New York. So you're thinking, this is going to be another lame "X-men meets Justice League" type thing. That was undoubtedly, exactly what I thought it'd be like. Guess I was wrong. Even though the theme of "superheroes" may be a bit cheesy at best, the intricate over-lapping storyline are enough to get anybody hooked. In short, if you like Lost, you'll like Heroes. In fact, who knows, Lost and Heroes may be in cahoots.

Have you watched the NBC show "Heroes"? Is it just me or am I the only one that sees the fangirl squee-ing cuteness of how "cute" the possibilty of a union between Peter (the empath) and Claire (the cheerleader w/ regeneration powers akin to Wolverine, but minus the ademantiam[sp?] bone structure).

I'm probably the only one... but then again, maybe with the few fanfics I found that feature Peter and Claire... I may not be alone.

Which means, if and when Peter and Claire are sharing the same screen... somewhere in Hawaii, a young Filipina girl is giggling and squee-ing like crazy...

Been watching this new NBC show Heroes with the hot cheerleader who can "swim through a woodchipper" and come out okay on the other side. Actually she does sustain injuries like any normal person but those injuries even when fatal heal almost instantly, though it hasn't yet been explained what are her secrets to pain management. She has walked through raging fires, thrown herself off bridges, broken her neck and gotten a hand mangled in a garbage disposal. That last one left her fingers split like an overcooked chicken wishbone and she just leaked blood onto the floor and watched them reform in seconds. Last week she was accidentally killed while fending off a date-rape. Rather, she seemed dead---knocked down by the larger male, a splintered tree limb went through her skull. Prince Charming dumped her body in a river and the next thing she knew, she was waking up on an autopsy table with her chest peeled away from her ribs. I want to apologize to everyone. I've done something that I am very ashamed of. I've broken the cardinal rule of being a superhero. I've used my powers for personal gain. I cheated at Las Vegas. It was very unhero-like.

Now I know why I was sent to Las Vegas by the comic book. This was a test. A test to see if I can resist the temptation to be corrupted. I've failed. I've failed my first test. I'm sorry to have let you down. I've been tempted to the Dark Side.

I just hope Karma strikes back at me quick, so I'll be forgiven for my sins. Then I can reset and continue with my mission to save the world.

I'm sure this will be the first of many tests, so I have to stay strong and focused. More than ever I'll need everyone to stay strong. I need to keep asking myself, what would Chrono do in this situation? Would Peter Parker do the same? I can't let Uncle Ben die because of my actions.

On the upside, I have been practicing my time freezing as you guys have said and I think I leveled up my skill. (>_<)(o.o) I think I can release the time freeze when I want. It seems to be pretty stable and haven't felt any side effects yet. However, I don't think I can hold it more than 20 sec. Jojo was wrong! I'm definitely getting better but it's a long road to becoming a master.

I hope that Mr. Isaku, also known as Jojo's Boingo, gets my message soon. Maybe he's deliberately not taking my messages. Hmm. He might be our Dungeon Master and hence we're not allowed to talk to him. That would be cool but also would suck. I guess we can keep driving to New York in the meantime.

Oh, looks like Ando-kun finally finished shopping. Ugh. He's buying expensive suits. I can't believe we're using dirty money for non-mission related personal stuff. Well, at least we can get back to our mission now.

Yes, you guys are right. This isn't a video game. This is real life. There are no save and load games. If I did though, how many megabytes would my saved game take up? I'm going to be strong. I'll need help from time to time, but I'll be strong!
