Veronica Mars fans a very special reunion. Francis Capra, aka the toughie 'Ron (and Mars viewers) loved to hate, is joining the NBC hit this fall in the recurring role of Jesse.
Who or what is Jesse? Not much (including his power) is being revealed, of course, but thus far I've found out two things: One, TV's former Weevil is playing evil, and two, his villainous storyline will find him crossing paths with Peter Petrelli.
Capra's arrival of course promises to reunite him with Veronica herself, Kristen Bell, who is rumored (though not yet confirmed, drat!) to be reprising her own Heroes role this season.
The OWI recently conducted a Q & A with Brea Grant, the actress slated to portray Daphne in the upcoming season of HEROES.
There are a few minor spoilers, just in case you want to stay spoiler-free for the new season.

Are/ were you daunted by the enormous pressure of joining such a great ensemble cast? Any first week hazing stories?
Yeah - I was (and still am) feeling a bit out of my league but everyone has been incredibly welcoming. No real hazing. But the first day we filmed on the top story of a building in downtown Los Angeles and there were a lot of threats involving hazing and me plummeting to my death.
Tell us about working with Masi and James. I have interviewed both of them and they seem like they would be so fun to work with.
They are incredibly fun to work with. I've worked more with Masi at this point and he has been so nice. I feel like we collaborate really well- making suggestions to each other and coming up with new ideas for scenes. It's nice when work feels like you're just hanging out with your friends and coming up with cool stuff to do.
What can you tell us about Daphne?
Daphne's power is that she is very fast - so fast she leaves a wake behind her - like when a motorboat speeds through the water and make waves that affect things in its vicinity. She has been on her own for a while and uses her powers for monetary gain - she's a thief. In the first episode you see Daphne, she steals something very important from Hiro. And she wears cool shoes.
When will we be meeting Daphne on the show? In Chapter 1 of Volume 3?

You might remember a post I made a couple of weeks ago about a new female villain with super speed. Well Kristen at E! had the super power right, but it seems she got the name wrong.
According to this article the new character's name is Daphne and will be played by Brea Grant.
The rest of this post may contain spoilers, so you will need to click "read more" to see it.

By the way, although it may seem like Heroes is getting ready to force-feed us another batch of newbies, an NBC insider insists that's definitely not the case. Yes, the show is introducing some new faces next season, but the primary focus, my source maintains, will remain "on the core characters from the pilot."

TVJab.com has reported that Jamie Hector (HBO's The Wire) will be joining the cast of 'Heroes' for season 3.
As usual, no word on who Jamie's character might be. Though with the writer's strike going on, I guess it is safe to assume that nothing is 'written' in stone yet.

The last thing we here at heroes-tv.com ever want to do is help perpetuate rumors involving the cast or crew of Heroes. Especially when we are talking about their private lives. For this reason we try to hold off posting the "gossipy" type stories until they prove to be valid.
It has been speculated for some time that Milo and Hayden may be involved in an off screen romance, but usually only in trashy magazines or blogs with unknown sources. Now that has changed.
Having previously denied a relationship, the two Heroes stars are now considered an item.
...
On a December trip to New York City, Ventimiglia hung out with the entire Panettiere family. "He's even met her grandparents. He fits in perfectly with the family. Milo jokes around with her little brother," says the source. "They're buddies."
When the couple are together, "they're very affectionate and very comfortable around each other. He really takes care of her, even down to the little things like giving her a back massage and going with her to work things."
A rep for the actress said: "We do not respond to inquiries from the media regarding Ms. Panettiere's personal life."
