The ODI made some screencaps of the individual that looks like the assailant who shot Nathan from the new HEROES Season Three preview video and he looks very similar to our beloved Peter. What do you think?

Perhaps as a way to say "we feel your pain" to loyal fans, NBC is calling the season premiere of Heroes a 'three-hour event'. The season 3 premiere will air on September 15th (tick off every last second with the Heroes-TV.com countdown clock) and consist of a one-hour recap of the previous two seasons, followed by two hours of brand new season 3 Heroes awesomeness.

You might remember a post I made a couple of weeks ago about a new female villain with super speed. Well Kristen at E! had the super power right, but it seems she got the name wrong.
According to this article the new character's name is Daphne and will be played by Brea Grant.

Entertainment Weekly recently reported that there are rumors of the third season consisting of 35 episodes.

The season 3 premiere of Heroes will be, rather appropriately, super-sized. NBC will air a three-hour ''event'' on Sept. 15, consisting of a one-hour recap of the previous two seasons, followed by the two-hour season premiere. The third season may also be epic another way: there are rumors that there may be as many as 35 episodes on the schedule. It's likely that at least some of these eps were casualties of the writers' strike, which devastated the current season of the Peacock's sci-fi show: 24 episodes were ordered, but only 11 made it to air.

Bruce Boxleitner who you might recognize as Scarecrow (Scarecrow and Mrs. King) will be joining the cast of Heroes. According to TVGuide, details about Boxleitner's character are being kept secret for the time being. What is known is that the role is going to be recurring and that Boxleitner will be sharing scenes with a female series regular.

By the way, although it may seem like Heroes is getting ready to force-feed us another batch of newbies, an NBC insider insists that's definitely not the case. Yes, the show is introducing some new faces next season, but the primary focus, my source maintains, will remain "on the core characters from the pilot."

Heroes was pulled from Apple's iTunes last year because NBC was not happy with the firm $1.99 price for all shows. Guess how much NBC shows, including Heroes will cost you at the Zune Marketplace? Yep, you guessed it, $1.99.
