Bryan talks about the show, the characters, the writers and the vast possibilities for the direction of the series. This is a great interview, especially interesting is how Fuller describes the show as "a different way of doing the X-Men" several times.
Quote: "We have a super villain that you'll see his story unfold by .. he's almost like a boogieman, in a sense that .. how much can I say about this guy ... lets just say that if you're one of the people on the show who has an ability ... you don't want to cross paths with this guy." Quote: "This sort of feels like it's going to be this season's LOST.. this one feels like it has that kind of magic" Heroes discussion starts 25 minutes into The PodcastSource: The Comics Podcast Network |

CNNMoney.com has an article discussing the Brandimensions report (that we posted about yesterday) and what it means for NBC's bottom line.
Quote: NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The ratings nightmare that NBC has found itself in for the past few years may finally come to an end this fall.
According to a report by Brandimensions, a research firm that measures consumer opinion based on online buzz from blogs, message boards and other Internet sources, the Peacock Network has three of the four most anticipated new shows: "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," "Heroes" and "30 Rock."

According to an online study, NBC is at the top of the list when it comes to the buzz on upcoming shows. Studio 60 came in first place, generating the most buzz out of any new series on any network. HEROES came in second (not too shabby).
Quote: The Brandimensions pre-season analysis monitored a broad range of Internet sources, and found 2.3 million mentions of new fall shows (which it narrowed down to 712,500 unique results and 45,300 relevant results from mid-May to late June). The data revealed that Studio 60 was talked about in 22.2 percent of the online audience discussion, far ahead of the second-most talked-about show, NBC drama Heroes, which averaged 9.3 percent. There has been a slight lull in HEROES related news as of late. I'm sure it is only a temporary pause while the buzz machine recharges. Until then, the only news in cyber circulation at the moment is that one of the characters on the show will be gay.
Our friends at heroestheseries have the scoop. |

Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel and her boyfriend, former costar Milo Ventimiglia, have broken up, PEOPLE has confirmed.
"He is currently single," Ventimiglia's rep tells PEOPLE. The couple were together for three and a half years.
Ventimiglia, who turns 29 on Saturday, joined the Gilmore Girls cast in fall 2001. He played town bad boy Jess, who became the boyfriend of Bledel's character, Rory.
Of their first onscreen kiss, Ventimiglia told Teen People in 2003, "I was nervous. We did each angle a million times."
Bledel, 24, and Ventimiglia soon became an offscreen couple, although they kept their relationship low-profile.
Bledel told PEOPLE.com in September that they had discussed marriage. "I think everybody who has been dating for more than a couple of years probably talks about it at some point. It's a fun thing for us to talk about, but that's it."
Gilmore Girls will return in the fall on the new WB/UPN-hybrid network the CW. Bledel also starred in last year's The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Ventimiglia will play Rocky Balboa, Jr. in the upcoming Rocky sequel and this fall will star in the new NBC superhero series Heroes.

ign.com has an interview with Greg Grunberg in which he talks about various projects he has been involved in. Of course the stuff we care about is the HEROES stuff! Luckily he touches on HEROES and tells us a little of what we can expect from the upcoming series.
Quote: I think very soon it?s all gonna tie in together, because much the way it is in X-Men, these characters are coming together to do something, and do something big. And it?s alluded to in the pilot that it?s apocalyptic. It?s the end. They show the guy who is able to paint the future? He paints New York City blowing up; like a nuclear explosion. So we know something is coming and we?re all gonna try and stop it. Meanwhile, there?s a dark, evil force. The guy with the glasses that you see in the preview. He finds out and he?s trying to pick us off one at a time. It?s very cool. [Executive Producer] Tim Kring wrote such a great script. [ Entire Article] |
