Heroes News : After the WGA Strike News...

Heroes News

Here is a link to a TV Guide article about the strike.

TBD is not no, but then again it is not yes either.

Could they run into June like TV Guide? The February 10, 2008 issue was teasing about some shows as "Good will" to the audience?

Five or six episodes would be decent. Not the best, but please? LOL.

I remember reading something earlier about this season having three smaller volumes. So depending on the storyline, six episodes might work. That being the key word of course.

Still since we haven't had an episode since December. Personally I would rather have a half arch and then a three month break of "To Be Continued" then tenth months of nothing. But hey that is just my opinion...

Six episodes isn't too much to ask for, I don't think. They need to get at least one more volume finished this season.

coourse the prob also becomes notice a lot of the cast went into movies while tv wasnt working. haydens doing a movie now as is milo and adrian is working on a tv series of his own. quinto is doing star trek as is possible grunberg. so not many cast is not working something else now.

*crosses fingers that possibly marigold will get released now*

Thanks for the link, it actually is helpful

I hope they decide to bring it back even if it's only a handful of episodes, I'm sure the show would work around the schedules of everyone on the cast.

Hopefully NBC puts the last episodes of Scrubs on the air, I haven't watched the show in a while (only the syndicated ones) but it would be sad to see a show go out on a direct-to-DVD note.

I hope we get a 6ep arc in, as well, for HEROES! What was that arc they skipped over to go directly into VILLAINS??

Isn't this the last season for SCRUBS?

I'm pretty sure it is for SMALLVILLE, as Rosenbaum's contract is up, and he's said that he does NOT intend to return for s8. I think another main cast member is also up at s7, but Welling is signed thru s8. Without Lex, I don't see the show lasting too long, but bringing in the JL as a back door policy might help to shore up a Lex-less eighth season. (and I doubt James Marsters will want to play Brainiac for a full season)

at least SMALLVILLE still has eps in the can, and we are promised everything we know about the Super-mythos of SMALLVILLE will change by the end of those eps.

Thank you for the news update WingsStef. I don't think 6 episodes is too much to ask for. Even if they give us 5 and leave us on another killer cliffhanger I would be happy.

Here's another statement.

WGA announces end to Hollywood Writer's strike

Interesting quote...

"Continuing to strike now will not bring sufficient gains to outweigh the potential risks," they said. "The time has come to accept this contract and settle the strike."

So is it safe to say it's over? Yay. Yay to security to new media!
