Out of time So am I. Well, almost. Sorry for taking so long to review/commentarize this episode.

I just watched it again with my mother, and though I did not take notes as I did with "Fight or Flight." I think I am a bit better to commentarize than before.

Great episode! Out of time... The name fits.

Hiro in the past...

Hiro and the dragon. The tale of myth mixed with truth, figuative a literal in verse. Quite nice. Hiro broke his heart leaving Kaito.

A 300 year plus love triangle, causing trouble. 300 plus years of evolution. Bob told Matt that his powers will evolve. 300 plus years is a lot...



I will have to say I will miss Yaeko some she was a cool women. The Sword smith's daughter, she uttered such a great, awarding line...

"They always under estimate women. Their folly."

Whoohooo!

Peter in the future.. And the virus has the potential to be out of control. "Out of Time"... Can Peter save the world? Niki was struck with the virus, self-inflicted by the way. This virus has no cure. Like the cold virus that changes just slightly every year which makes it hard to get a vaccine, the Shanti virus is now out of control.

Will Mohinder be able to save Niki? Will Peter be able to save Nathan? Will he get the rest of his memory? Bob told Matt that he can control everything the mind can control. He was able to break through the Haitian during the Fallout. And when Peter ran into Future Angela he was able to get his memory back. Did Angela reverse the memories or was it since all the memories seemed to be of Angela, instead Peter used the telepathic powers he received from Matt and/or possibily combinded with the memory manipulation power he absorbed from the Haitian, was he able to just target the memories he shared with Angela? When he runs into other people will he remember more? Is this how it works? The Haitian once said, "That is not how my gift works." Yes, but that doesn't mean the memories are gone. Just that the Haitian's power doesn't work that way. Perhaps another power is the key?

Mohinder and the gun: the paintings. In the picture as I looked at it again, yes, it looked like Mohinder's nose was broken, but not only that he was crying. It does not appear to me that the shot was premediated. Pre-destined? That might be true, but that is another story. The future is not written in stone. Though it does seem to be painted on a canvas. If Mohinder does hit that trigger he does it with great remorse, great hesitation. The idea is just breaking my heart.

Nathan and Niki. I love their connection. Nathan does love Heidi. Niki did love DL. Yet Nathan and Niki have this connection, an attraction. And though lust is definitely part of it, it is more than that. They care for each other, respect each other, have this bond of sorts. Friends of the deepest level perhaps. They are so fun to watch. It was so touching watching how Nathan's nuturing senese completely took over as she knocked down the door. I am sure the show wanted us to think Niki would inject Nathan, but what she did was just as shocking, injecting herself to stop the nightmare. The mutanted virus.

Bob. Bob. Was it me or did he not seem too surprised that the new strain was immune? He already had a new plan, using Claire. But would Claire work? Or would her new regeneration abilities just make the virus regenerate? When Peter got that tatoo his regeneration fought the ink, but a virus? If the Virus could interfer with cells, as it is their nature to do, would this be too much? And didn't Sandra Bennet last season say something about Claire having this cough? Something wrong with her cells? Did something like this happen before?

So West found out that Claire's father is his childhood kidnapper... And of course he freaked out. Is it fate that West came to meet his kidnapper's daughter? And when Bob and Mohinder come to snatch Claire, if that in fact is what they do, will the awful painting come to light? Or will it be something else? And a new worry came to mind...since Nathan is now also talking to Bob, will an old threat come to light..."I will find you and when I do, I will kill you?" Did the two of them meet four months ago? Hmm...

So Bob decides to target Nathan's emotional side, and mentions Peter. Nathan isn't having it.

"If you are going to talk about my brother, you better be careful what you say next."

"Peter's alive Nathan. Your brother is alive."

Just like Parasite when Linderman said, "And I know about your brother's problem...and your daughter."

It worked liked a charm, but note that he didn't tell Nathan a complete truth once again. I believe there is no way Nathan would be all for the Company using Claire. I think Bob will keep this little tidbit to himself. To bad it seems Mohinder never did connect the dots about who Claire is...

Mohinder got a gun...Bennet better run...

I really don't think Mohinder will shoot and ask questions later. Though, hmm...

"I will destory all the viles, I promise." I almost want to say get that chair again, but that again that might make the virus airborne. Oh I know! Set the place on fire? Oh wait that might have been the plan last volume. But then again didn't they still have some verison of the virus in Five Years Gone? Remember the so called cure that Sylar / Fake Nathan and Future Mohinder was talking about in the Oval office?

Was Noah sloppy? He told Ivan that he had to kill him because the company would find out but he left finger prints? That is sloppy.

Peter was at the company three months ago...*gasp*

He had a needle in his arm...did he get the virus? Did they use the cure? Did he cured himself? And I wonder...if the virus is somewhat similar to smallpox...I mean people that had cowpox, a similar, yet different virus, were immune to smallpox. Even though Niki's strain is uncureable at the moment. Are those that had the previous verison now immune? Are they now safe?

Peter must have escaped. And being the good person that he is, he freed Adam too. But something must have happened the answers we seek finally next week, or still just a ton of hints and teases? I suspect a combination of both. The previews and promotional commercials are more than enough to have a fangirl giddy.

"Where is he now? How did you lose someone?"

The reason is, you will be pround of your little brother Nathan, of that I am sure.

But Nathan, aww. The hope returned to his eyes. Save Nathan please. Niki didn't stabbed him but the virus might still be around...is it yet airborne?

Mohinder kept making comments about it mutating and killing everyone. Of course people won't listen. LOL

Claire their salvation? Or will her powers make it worse? Instead do we have to look towards another virus of sorts, another power or two. I recently read Chapter 51 of the graphic novel, "Maya y Alejandro" that came out September 19. It hinted that a seemingly unattractive trait might have value, and cure for a cancer? Hmm...Did we have our major hint all along?

Bob repeated Linderman's line, "We all have a role..."

Heh. "We are off to see Mohinder, the wonderful Mohinder of Heroes..."

Aren't those Wonder Twins in California now?

Since they went over the Borderline?

"Something in your eyes is makin' such a fool of me..."

Bob and Mohinder will be showing up soon after West and Claire's stunt. A reunion of sorts? Since Sylar will be there too. Let's not forget the comment that one border crosser lady said as well, "You have the power to kill the devil in you." Hmm...

Poor Caitlin, was it just me? But did anyone else think "Jennifer on the porch?" You know Marty's girlfriend from Back to the Future? If time gets fixed will she just show up safely in Ireland next June?

I want some waffles. Loved that great running joke.

I hope Peter comes home soon, with more memories to come and I hope that he truly isn't Out of Time...
