I watched the Uncut pilot and it was great. But, I think I do like the aired cut better.

*Spoilers for those that have not seen the unaired pilot.*

Lot of Red the CIA agent. No Audrey and a different Sylar. Though, I think that Sylar's voice still made the show when Eden and Mohinder were listening to that message. No Eden either.

Matt was in the unaired pilot and it looks like the recycled the deleted scenes and put some of them in "Don't Look Back". Well, as they say, "Use not, waste not."

Big huge terrorist plot. Matt knows the leader that made me a bit sad that I can't heard more of that. Ooh Matt has a connection with the terroist dude. Well, maybe in the deleted scenes I have to watch. I guess that is why the show ulitmately had Matt team up with Ted. And those scenes were pretty damn hillarious if you ask me. Whoohoo! Matt and Ted were good!

Matt and Audrey too. And even Matt and Janice. Matt had a different wife in this too. So I guess when they hired Matthew Armstrong and his wife, they got rid of Matt's other wife. Which really only had two seconds of dialogue anyway.

Oooh Nathan has a nasty mouth and called his mother a crackwhore. Well, he made a crack that he wouldn't be surprised if she was one actually. Naughty! That scene was leaked at Youtube last week but still it was kinda funny.

The beginning of the unaired pilot started with the Volume name "Genesis" which later also became the chapter title. In this verison though, the Chapter was called "In his Own Image" but the first pilot was not only one chapter long. It was three chapter long. And some of the chapter titles were long. I think NBC might have said. "Ummm?" If anyone thought "Like Any Parasite" was too long and thought that it was better it was shorted as "Parasite" will be glad that they weren't as long as chapters 2 and 3 (the orignal ones I mean). I don't have them memorized but chapter 3 was a sentence. Chapter 2 was something about a moon shadow which was a reference to something Nathan later said. "I know I cast a big shadow."

And oh...Tim Kring's theme of Love was more evident in this pilot though. As I read somewhere that the dream in "Nothing to Hide" was orginally envisioned to be in the pilot.

"He's my brother and I love him." ~ Peter

"Love is overrated" ~ Angela

"Nathan loves me too, I know it." ~ Peter

The above also made the aired pilot, but there was also mentions about love and God and Allah all through this episode. I'm not a preacher but this pilot shows more that this was a theme. Also the minds Matt read related various love messages. And Matt's wife made comments that she didn't care if he advanced or not becuase she loved him. But like Janice, she was annoyed with Matt's boo hoo act. And oh, he wants to join the SWAT Squad instead of make dectective.

Oh and yeah. Like the pictures at NBC.com suggest, Isaac actually cut his hand off becuase he needed his drugs.

DL is in jail but gets out, and Micah is a little theif. He stole $300 from Texas Tina. DL's escape is later protrayed in a graphic novel.

The end...was different too. The part when Peter jumped. He still jumped; Nathan still caught him but he didn't lose grip. Just not yet.

To Be Continued...
