Emmy nominations were announced earlier this morning and I'm sure that all of you super fans will be elated to hear that "Heroes" was among them. "Heroes" received several nominations in various categories, but the most notable is the nod for Best Drama Series. Joining "Heroes" in this category are "Boston Legal," "Grey's Anatomy," "House" and "The Sopranos."

In addition to Best Drama Series, "Heroes" was also nominated in the following categories: Art Direction For A Single-camera Series, Single-camera Picture Editing For A Drama Series, Directing For A Drama Series, Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series, Special Visual Effects For A Series and Outstanding Stunt Coordination.

Oh yeah one more little nomination went to Masi Oka for Outstanding Supporting Actor!! Way to go Masi!

The 59th annual Emmy Awards will be broadcast on Fox September 16th.
