The October 9-15th edition of TV Guide contains descriptions of each Heroes' powers by Tim Kring.

Here's the run down (all quotes are Kring's own words):

Niki - "Her journey is about figuring out how to unify this other side of her and ultimately to control it."

Nathan - "A guy running for office is really under a microscope ... Nathan doesn't want [to be seen as] strange and unappealing"

Peter - Has ability to absorb other people's powers. "He will be tempted whether to use it for good or evil."

Mohinder - He's on a journey to discover what is father knew and why he died for knowing it.

Hiro - Bending space-time continuum, teleportation. "It's no coincidence that we named him Hiro .... He truly is on a hero's quest."

Claire - Her ability is being indestructible, but "like any teenager, the last thing she wants is to be different from everybody"

Matt - Telepathic ability "It's both a blessing and a curse ... He hears what he wants to, but also what other people really think of him."

Micah - Micah's ability is "something very different than either of his parents."

Isaac - Predicting future in paintings "Early in the season, he's trying to figure out if these powers exist when he isn't high"

Simone - "You can't have an entire show where everybody has a power ... She's a very important character because she's the voice of the average person saying, 'this is crazy. This isn't real!"

Nothing really new here, most of this has been leaked in previous spoilers, but now it is all in one place.
