Spoilers : Who Will Be Back For Season Two?

Spoilers

Here are some tid-bits from Kristen at E-Online. Nathan and Peter blown into oblivion? Perhaps not. As always with spoilers, click "read more" to get the goods.

Quote:

Sylar Is Alive: His crimson snail trail to the manhole made that perfectly clear, and I also have it on high authority that Zachary Quinto (Sylar) is a series regular next season. Makes sense, since the guy pretty much stole every single scene he was in tonight, did he not? So creeptastic!

Hiro Is Stuck in the 17th Century! This is the reveal of another tease I gave you long ago, that Hiro is not with the rest of the Heroes at the beginning of season two. He is in 17th-century Japan in the midst of a war, and it takes him a few good episodes to get back to present-day NYC. And by the way, those last few minutes of tonight's finale are the first few minutes of season two's premiere.

Spoiler Alert! I have it on good authority that both Milo Ventimiglia (Peter) and Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) are back next season. I'm also 99 percent certain Greg Grunberg (Matt) is back, but not so sure about D.L. (Leonard Roberts). I have a sneaking suspicion Linderman's blood or heart may heal him, but that could just be my wishful thinking, for I love Leonard so.

Quote:

Glug! Glug! The script called for Nathan to drop Peter into the ocean after he exploded, which should explain my "swim" reference in today's chat. We'll see next season if that is indeed where P.P. landed.

Quote:

Spoiler Alert Part Deux! I'm told next season begins four months into the future, and two of the main characters are in deep despair—one having completely lost his memory (bring on the Bourne Identity storyline!) and the other having developed a major drinking problem. Told ya Sylar wasn't this show's only demon.

Did I Mention Hiro Will Be in 17th-Freaking-Century Japan? That's just awesome! I'm hearing it could be as many as six episodes that he spends there. Sans Ando.

Umm...am I crazy or does that fly up in the air and crash into the sea scene sound like chapter 12 of the graphic novel...

That was another dream that has not yet been fully realized...

Grasping at straws anyone?

That Kristen woman is so/so in creditablity...

I already know Greg said he's in for s2 and 3.

DL - I have a feeling he will be back in flashbacks if the theme is "Generations" (something about his mother bugged me during SciFi Marathon). Did anyone see him during the final, "recovery" scene? Matt was loaded into an ambulance, but was DL?

Six eps for retro-Hiro? seems a bit long of an arc, for me. then again, the again, the whole "powerless" arc really helped his character.

Good news for N+P, I hoped at least one would survive.

Memory loss (via Haitian?) = Bennett? Nathan(in denial?)?
drunk = Matt? or will Nikki fall off the wagon?

Makes sense that Niki would be the one with the drinking problem, since we saw her at a meeting. And if D.L. doesnt make it, even more reason for her to drink. But it does say "developed" a drinking problem possibly meaning it wasnt there before? Maybe reading to much into that.

It's weird to watch a show and not want the villain to die because he's such an amazing villain. So, yay! Sylar is back!

I really hope shes right about Peter and Nathan (or even just Peter really).

Peter could be the one with memory loss, as the explosion and fall would be quite catastrophic for him, plus it would serve to limit him power-wise (personally I don't want Peter's powers to be limited in that way, as it's been demonstrated that his powers as a liability). If Peter loses his memory, he'll lose radiokinesis and soothsaying permanently :/
